Many of the songs we sing over and over again have great “go into all the world” lyrics.
Have you sung them so many times you forget to live them?
Think about it:
Lord, prepare me to be a sanctuary
Pure and holy, tried and true
With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living
Sanctuary for You.
Are you a living sanctuary? Or an attending member?
Have you been “tried” and found true, or are you playing it safe while singing about being “tried and true?”
Or this one:
Into all creation
Each and every nation
Sending your salvation
All around the world.
When you sing this, do you think about the nations still largely without Jesus?
Does “each and every nation” mean something to you? Does “all around the world” give you any pause to think, “could I go somewhere to make this song more of a reality?”
Are you singing with your spirit, but also with your understanding? (1 Corinthians 14:15)
